Handyman, logger remanded on separate drug possession charges

Ranks of a mobile patrol on the Moblissa Linden Highway, at about 15:45 hours yesterday, arrested Kayle Roberts, 23, a handyman of Moblissa with eight (8) parcels of compressed cannabis, amounting to five and a half kilograms.

Also about 17:30 hours yesterday, ranks on an ATV Patrol in Lower Kara Kara, Linden arrested Michael Torres, 44, a logger at his home with, one kilogram of cannabis.

They were both charged separately with Possession of Narcotics for the Purpose of Trafficking and appeared before His Worship Clive Nurse at the Wales Magistrate’s Court today.

The men pleaded not guilty and were remanded until Monday August 21, 2017 for trial.
