Based on information received, Joy Proctor of Rosa Drive, South Ruimvedlt, Georgetown had secured her home and went to bed at around 21:00 hrs on Monday.
However, she was abruptly awakened at around 02:30 hrs the following morning, by the realisation that she was being choked. The woman said that upon opening her eyes, she observed a man standing over her.
The bandits reportedly demanded that the woman turn over her cash and valuables.
They then proceeded to ransack the home before fleeing the scene in the woman’s silver grey motor car, valued at $5M and an additional variety of valuables totalling a cost of $600,000.
Thus far, no one has been taken into custody.
