LBI resident found dead in front of his home

Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 60-year-old accountant who was found lifeless in front of his home in La Bonne Intention (LBI), East Coast Demerara on Saturday last.

The dead man has been identified as Sheik Mohamed Hack, attached to Sandy’s Funeral Home as an accountant.

According to information received, the man’s body was discovered with a gaping wound to the back of his head, just after 06:00 hrs on the day in question.

Police say that details remain sketchy but it appears that the man may have met his demise during the hours of late Friday evening and the wee hours of Saturday.

Hack also suffers from heart problems.

In addition, this online publication was told that the deceased was the licensed owner of a hand gun. However, the weapon has not been found at his residence.
